GAS Furnaces
Modern high-efficiency furnaces can cut your heating costs by as much as 50% compared to systems that are ten years or older. Many units built before the 1990s operate with an Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) of 65% or lower. Today’s standards require furnaces sold in the U.S. to have a minimum AFUE of 80% in the Southeast and Southwest regions, and at least 90% in the North. At Tex Heating and AC, our furnace lineup begins at 80% AFUE and reaches over 98% efficiency.

HEAT PUMPS
Heat pumps are an excellent all-in-one solution for year-round comfort, providing both heating and cooling from a single system. They carry SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) ratings for cooling efficiency and HSPF (Heating Seasonal Performance Factor) ratings for heating efficiency — with higher numbers meaning better energy savings.
